तदर्जुनास्त्रं ग्रसते स्म वीरान्वियत्तथाकाशमनन्तघोषम् ।

2. That weapon (astra) of Arjuna was devouring the heroes, filling the atmosphere and the sky with endless roars. It was swiftly discharged by the enraged Arjuna (Pārtha) for Karna's slaying in the great battle.
