योऽसौ त्वया खाण्डवे चित्रभानुं संतर्पयानेन धनुर्धरेण ।
वियद्गतो बाणनिकृत्तदेहो ह्यनेकरूपो निहतास्य माता ॥२३॥

kṛṣṇaḥ uvāca: asau yaḥ,

Kṛṣṇa said, 'This is the very one (Takṣaka) whose mother was killed, and whose multi-formed body, having gone into the sky, was severed by arrows by you, the archer, when you were gratifying the fire-god (Citrabhanu) in the (Khāṇḍava) forest.'
