महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-66, verse-17

ततः किरीटं बहुरत्नमण्डितं जहार नागोऽर्जुनमूर्धतो बलात् ।
गिरेः सुजाताङ्कुरपुष्पितद्रुमं महेन्द्रवज्रः शिखरं यथोत्तमम् ॥१७॥
17. tataḥ kirīṭaṁ bahuratnamaṇḍitaṁ; jahāra nāgo'rjunamūrdhato balāt ,
gireḥ sujātāṅkurapuṣpitadrumaṁ; mahendravajraḥ śikharaṁ yathottamam.

17. Then, the Nāga forcefully snatched the crown, adorned with many jewels, from Arjuna's head, just as Indra's thunderbolt (mahendravajra) strikes down an excellent mountain peak with its flourishing sprouts and flowering trees.
