The best of horses (hayaśreṣṭhāḥ) and the magnificent steeds (prabhadrākāḥ), golden-colored and adorned with diverse divine hues, followed Yudhiṣṭhira—who was knowledgeable in natural law (dharma), positioned within the army, and the foremost among kings—from all sides, at his back.
