महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-22, verse-22

सहस्रसोमप्रतिमा बभूवुः पुरे कुरूणामुदयेन्दुनाम्नि ।
तस्मिञ्जातः सोमसंक्रन्दमध्ये यस्मात्तस्मात्सुतसोमोऽभवत्सः ॥२२॥
22. sahasrasomapratimā babhūvuḥ; pure kurūṇāmudayendunāmni ,
tasmiñjātaḥ somasaṁkrandamadhye; yasmāttasmātsutasomo'bhavatsaḥ.

22. In the city of the Kurus named Udayendu, there were ceremonies resembling a thousand Soma (yajña) sacrifices. Because he was born there amidst Soma and Saṃkranda, he became known as Sutasoma.
