महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-21, verse-13

अवबोधाद्धि भीतास्मि गन्धर्वाणां यशस्विनाम् ।
एवं मे प्रतिजानीहि ततोऽहं वशगा तव ॥१३॥
13. avabodhāddhi bhītāsmi gandharvāṇāṁ yaśasvinām ,
evaṁ me pratijānīhi tato'haṁ vaśagā tava.
13. avabodhāt hi bhītā asmi gandharvāṇām yaśasvinām
evam me pratijānīhi tataḥ aham vaśagā tava
13. Indeed, I am fearful of the glorious Gandharvas gaining knowledge (avabodha) [of our union]. Thus, promise me this, and then I shall be subject to your will.
