महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-2, verse-67

एवं पतति संसारे तासु तास्विह योनिषु ।
अविद्याकर्मतृष्णाभिर्भ्राम्यमाणोऽथ चक्रवत् ॥६७॥
67. evaṁ patati saṁsāre tāsu tāsviha yoniṣu ,
avidyākarmatṛṣṇābhirbhrāmyamāṇo'tha cakravat.

avidyākarmatṛṣṇābhiḥ bhrāmyamāṇaḥ atha cakravat
67. Thus, he falls into the cycle of transmigration (saṃsāra), being whirled around like a wheel by ignorance (avidyā), actions (karma), and desires, taking birth in various species here in this world.
