महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-47, verse-64

एतावदुक्त्वा वचनं भीष्मस्तद्गतमानसः ।
नम इत्येव कृष्णाय प्रणाममकरोत्तदा ॥६४॥
64. etāvaduktvā vacanaṁ bhīṣmastadgatamānasaḥ ,
nama ityeva kṛṣṇāya praṇāmamakarottadā.
64. etāvat uktvā vacanam bhīṣmaḥ tatgatamānasaḥ
namaḥ iti eva kṛṣṇāya praṇāmam akarot tadā
64. bhīṣmaḥ etāvat vacanam uktvā,
tadgatamānasaḥ [san],
tadā kṛṣṇāya namaḥ iti eva प्रणामम् akarot.
64. Having spoken these words, Bhishma, whose mind was absorbed in Him, then offered obeisance to Krishna, saying merely "Namo."
