योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-51, verse-48

मोक्षादृते न शाम्यन्ति जीवतां चक्षुरादयः ।
उन्मज्जन्ति निमज्जन्ति केवलं देशकालतः ॥ ४८ ॥
mokṣādṛte na śāmyanti jīvatāṃ cakṣurādayaḥ ,
unmajjanti nimajjanti kevalaṃ deśakālataḥ 48
48. mokṣāt ṛte na śāmyanti jīvatām cakṣuḥ ādayaḥ
| unmajjanti nimajjanti kevalam deśa kālataḥ
48. mokṣāt ṛte,
jīvatām cakṣuḥ ādayaḥ na śāmyanti.
kevalam deśa-kālataḥ (te) unmajjanti nimajjanti.
48. Without final liberation (mokṣa), the senses, such as the eyes, of living beings do not find peace. They merely emerge and disappear according to specific places and times.
