कीदृशी प्राणवातस्य गतिरित्येव राघव ॥ १ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: 'As that bird was speaking thus, I then asked him again, 'O Rāghava, what kind of movement does the vital breath (prāṇa-vāta) indeed possess?''
