तेजस्वी कौशिकश्वेष्ठो वयमस्य सुदुर्बलाः ।
क्रोशन्त्येतास्तथा भीता दुष्पारं प्रतिभाति मे ॥९॥

9. tejasvī kauśikaśveṣṭho vayamasya sudurbalāḥ .

The radiant Kauśika (Viśvāmitra) is revered, and we are very weak in comparison to him. These [demons], thus frightened, are crying out. This task appears insurmountable to me.
