मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-5

स विहाय मृगं राजा मा भैषीरित्यभाषत ।
मयि शासति दुर्मेधाः कोऽयमन्यायवृत्तिमान् ॥५॥
5. sa vihāya mṛgaṃ rājā mā bhaiṣīrityabhāṣata .
mayi śāsati durmedhāḥ ko'yamanyāyavṛttimān.
5. sa vihāya mṛgam rājā mā bhaiṣīḥ iti abhāṣata
mayi śāsati durmedhāḥ kaḥ ayam anyāyavṛttimān
5. The king, abandoning the deer, spoke, saying, 'Do not fear! While I rule, who is this foolish, unjust individual?'
