मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-36

व्रजतः स ततो रुद्ध्वा पन्थानं प्राह तं नृपम् ।
क्व यास्यसीत्यदत्त्वा मे दक्षिणां राजसूयिकीम् ॥३६॥
36. vrajataḥ sa tato ruddhvā panthānaṃ prāha taṃ nṛpam .
kva yāsyasītyadattvā me dakṣiṇāṃ rājasūyikīm.
36. vrajataḥ saḥ tataḥ ruddhvā panthānam prāha tam nṛpam
kva yāsyasi iti adattvā me dakṣiṇām rājasūyikīm
36. Then, obstructing his path as he was going, he said to that king, "Where will you go without giving me the sacrificial fee (dakṣiṇā) for the Rājasūya (yajña)?"
