मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-37

हरिश्चन्द्र उवाच ।
भगवन् राज्यमेतत् ते दत्तं निहतकण्टकम् ।
अवशिष्टमिदं ब्रह्मन्नद्य देहत्रयं मम ॥३७॥
37. hariścandra uvāca .
bhagavan rājyametat te dattaṃ nihatakaṇṭakam .
avaśiṣṭamidaṃ brahmannadya dehatrayaṃ mama.
37. hariścandraḥ uvāca bhagavan rājyam etat te dattam
nihatakaṇṭakam avaśiṣṭam idam brahman adya dehatrayam mama
37. Hariścandra said: "O revered one, this kingdom (rājya), free from enemies, has been given to you. O Brahmin, only these three bodies of mine now remain."
