मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-61

तां तथा ताडितां दृष्ट्वा हरिश्चन्द्रो महीपतिः ।
गच्छामीत्याह दुः खार्तो नान्यत् किञ्चिदुदाहरत् ॥६१॥
61. tāṃ tathā tāḍitāṃ dṛṣṭvā hariścandro mahīpatiḥ .
gacchāmītyāha duḥ khārto nānyat kiñcidudāharat.
61. tām tathā tāḍitām dṛṣṭvā hariścandraḥ mahīpatiḥ
gacchāmi iti āha duḥkhārtaḥ na anyat kiñcit udāharat
61. Seeing her thus struck, King Hariścandra, distressed by sorrow, merely said, "I am going," and uttered nothing else.
