मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-27

विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
ससागरां धरामेतां सभूभृद्ग्रामपत्तनाम् ।
राज्यं च सकलं वीर रथाश्व-गजसङ्कुलम् ॥२७॥
27. viśvāmitra uvāca .
sasāgarāṃ dharāmetāṃ sabhūbhṛdgrāmapattanām .
rājyaṃ ca sakalaṃ vīra rathāśva-gajasaṅkulam.
27. viśvāmitra uvāca sasāgarām dharām etām sabhūbhṛtgrāmapattanām
rājyam ca sakalam vīra rathaśvagajasaṅkulam
27. Viśvāmitra replied, "O hero, (I choose) this earth (dhara) with its oceans, its mountains, villages, and cities, and the entire kingdom (rājya) bustling with chariots, horses, and elephants."
