मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-15

स चापि राजा तं दृष्ट्वा विश्वामित्रं तपोनिधिम् ।
भीतः प्रावेपतात्यर्थं सहसाश्वत्थपर्णवत् ॥१५॥
15. sa cāpi rājā taṃ dṛṣṭvā viśvāmitraṃ taponidhim .
bhītaḥ prāvepatātyarthaṃ sahasāśvatthaparṇavat.
15. saḥ ca api rājā tam dṛṣṭvā viśvāmitram taponidhim
bhītaḥ prāvepat atyartham sahasā aśvatthaparṇavat
15. And that king, too, seeing Viśvāmitra, who was a treasure of austerity (tapas), became greatly frightened and suddenly trembled exceedingly, like an Aśvattha leaf.
