मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-7, verse-4

स कदाचिन्महाबाहुररण्येऽनुसरन् मृगम् ।
शुश्राव शब्दमसकृत् त्रायस्वेति च योषिताम् ॥४॥
4. sa kadācinmahābāhuraraṇye'nusaran mṛgam .
śuśrāva śabdamasakṛt trāyasveti ca yoṣitām.

4. Once, that mighty-armed (mahābāhu) king, while pursuing a deer in the forest, repeatedly heard the cries of women saying, 'Save us!'
