मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-58, verse-72

ग्रहपूजाञ्च कुर्वोत सर्वपीडासु मानवः ।
एवं शाम्यन्त्यशेषाणि घोराणि द्विजसत्तम ॥७२॥
72. grahapūjāñca kurvota sarvapīḍāsu mānavaḥ .
evaṃ śāmyantyaśeṣāṇi ghorāṇi dvijasattama.
72. grahapūjām ca kurvīta sarvapīḍāsu mānavaḥ |
evam śāmyanti aśeṣāṇi ghorāṇi dvijasattama
72. O best among the twice-born (dvija), a human being should perform the worship of planets (grahapūjā) for all afflictions. In this way, all remaining dreadful things are completely appeased.
