जपं होमं तथा दानं स्त्रानं क्रोधादिवर्जनम् ॥७०॥

Non-harming, the avoidance of fasting, and the worship of shrines and similar sacred places are commendable. Also (commended are) recitation (japa), fire sacrifice (homa), charity (dāna), ritual bathing, and the avoidance of anger and similar vices.
