यस्यर्क्षस्य पतिर्यो वै ग्रहस्तद्भावितो भयम् ।
तद्देशस्य मुनिश्रेष्ठ तदुत्कर्षे शुभागमः ॥५६॥

56. yasyarkṣasya patiryo vai grahastadbhāvito bhayam .
taddeśasya muniśreṣṭha tadutkarṣe śubhāgamaḥ.

56.
O best of sages, when the planet (graha) that is the lord (pati) of a constellation (nakṣatra) is unfavorably influenced, fear (bhayam) arises for the corresponding region. And when that [planet/lord] is in exaltation (utkarṣa), there is the advent of good fortune (śubhāgamaḥ).
