मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-58, verse-5

नवधा संस्थितान्यस्य नक्षत्राणि समन्ततः ।
विषयाश्च द्विजश्रेष्ठ ये सम्यक् तान्निबोध मे ॥५॥
5. navadhā saṃsthitānyasya nakṣatrāṇi samantataḥ .
viṣayāśca dvijaśreṣṭha ye samyak tānnibodha me.

viṣayāḥ ca dvijaśreṣṭha ye samyak tān nibodha me
5. O best among the twice-born (dvija), learn from me thoroughly about these constellations, which are established all around in nine ways, and also about these regions.
