मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-39, verse-64

अनुरागी जनो याति परोक्षे गुणकीर्तनम् ।
न बभ्यति च सत्त्वानि सिद्धेर्लक्षणमुत्तमम् ॥६४॥
64. anurāgī jano yāti parokṣe guṇakīrtanam .
na babhyati ca sattvāni siddherlakṣaṇamuttamam.
64. anurāgī janaḥ yāti parokṣe guṇakīrtanam na
babhyati ca sattvāni siddheḥ lakṣaṇam uttamam
64. An affectionate person praises others' virtues even in their absence. Furthermore, other beings are not troubled or agitated (by such a person). This is an excellent sign of (spiritual) accomplishment (siddhi).
