For the pacification of an abdominal tumor (vāta-gulma) caused by vāta, as well as in cases of udāvarta (upward movement of vāta) and other abdominal disorders, one should apply gruel. Alternatively, one should counteract excessive wind (pavana) and vāyu-knots (vāyugranthi).
