मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-39, verse-62

धर्मार्थकाममोक्षाणां शरीरं साधनं यतः ।
प्रवृत्तिलक्षणाख्यानाद्योगिनो विस्मयात्तथा ।
विज्ञानं विलयं याति तस्माद् गोप्याः प्रवृत्तयः ॥६२॥
62. dharmārthakāmamokṣāṇāṃ śarīraṃ sādhanaṃ yataḥ .
pravṛttilakṣaṇākhyānādyogino vismayāttathā .
vijñānaṃ vilayaṃ yāti tasmād gopyāḥ pravṛttayaḥ.
62. dharmārthakāmamokṣāṇām śarīram sādhanam
yataḥ | pravṛttilakṣaṇākhyānāt
yoginaḥ vismayāt tathā | vijñānam
vilayam yāti tasmāt gopyāḥ pravṛttayaḥ
62. Because the body is the means for (achieving) the four aims of human life: righteousness (dharma), prosperity (artha), pleasure (kāma), and final liberation (mokṣa). And similarly, from the description of characteristic activities, the consciousness (vijñāna) of a yogi dissolves due to astonishment. Therefore, these activities (pravṛtti) should be kept secret.
