मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-39, verse-28

पद्ममर्धासनञ्चापि तथा स्वस्तिकमासनम् ।
आस्थाय योगं युञ्जीत कृत्वा च प्रणवं हृदि ॥२८॥
28. padmamardhāsanañcāpi tathā svastikamāsanam .
āsthāya yogaṃ yuñjīta kṛtvā ca praṇavaṃ hṛdi.
28. padmam ardha āsanam ca api tathā svastikam āsanam
āsthāya yogam yuñjīta kṛtvā ca praṇavam hṛdi
28. Having adopted the lotus (padma), half-lotus (ardha), or similarly the svastika posture (āsana), one should practice yoga (discipline), placing the syllable Om (praṇava) in the heart.
