तस्मात्सङ्गं प्रयत्नेन मुमुक्षुः संत्यजेन्नरः ।
सङ्गाभावे ममेत्यस्याः ख्यातेर्हानिः प्रजायते ॥३॥

3. tasmātsaṅgaṃ prayatnena mumukṣuḥ saṃtyajennaraḥ .

A person who desires liberation (mokṣa) should therefore diligently abandon attachment (saṅga). With the absence of attachment, the notion of "mine" is eradicated.
