मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-103, verse-54

शं प्रजाभ्योऽस्तु देवेश शन्नोऽस्तु जगतांपते ।
शन्नोऽस्तु द्विपदे नित्यं शन्नश्चास्तु चतुष्पदे ॥५४॥
54. śaṃ prajābhyo'stu deveśa śanno'stu jagatāṃpate .
śanno'stu dvipade nityaṃ śannaścāstu catuṣpade.
54. śam prajābhyaḥ astu deveśa śam naḥ astu jagatāmpate
śam naḥ astu dvipade nityam śam naḥ ca astu catuṣpade
54. O Lord of gods, let there be welfare for all beings. O Lord of the worlds, let there be welfare for us. May there always be welfare for bipeds, and may there be welfare for quadrupeds.
