मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-103, verse-11

भर्तुः समीपं याहीति पित्रोक्ता सा पुनः पुनः ।
अगच्छद्वडवा भूत्वा कुरून्विप्रोत्तरांस्ततः ॥११॥
11. bhartuḥ samīpaṃ yāhīti pitroktā sā punaḥ punaḥ .
agacchadvaḍavā bhūtvā kurūnviprottarāṃstataḥ.
11. bhartuḥ samīpam yāhi iti pituḥ uktā sā punaḥ punaḥ
agacchat vaḍavā bhūtvā kurūn viprottarān tataḥ
11. "Go near your husband!" — repeatedly told thus by her father, she, having become a mare, went to the Kurus, those in the northern regions beyond the Vipras.
