मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-103, verse-43

विक्षिप्तसलिलाः सर्वे बभूवुश्च तथाब्धितः ।
व्यभिद्यन्त महाशैलाः शीर्णसानुनिबन्धनाः ॥४३॥
43. vikṣiptasalilāḥ sarve babhūvuśca tathābdhitaḥ .
vyabhidyanta mahāśailāḥ śīrṇasānunibandhanāḥ.
43. vikṣiptasalilāḥ sarve babhūvuḥ ca tathā abdhitaḥ
| vyabhidyanta mahāśailāḥ śīrṇasānunibandhanāḥ
43. All the oceans became turbulent, their waters scattered from them. And the great mountains split apart, their peaks and foundations shattered.
