मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-103, verse-42

गगनं चाखिलं ब्रह्मन्सचन्द्रग्रहतारकम् ।
अधोगतं महाभाग बभूवाक्षिक्षमाकुलम् ॥४२॥
42. gaganaṃ cākhilaṃ brahmansacandragrahatārakam .
adhogataṃ mahābhāga babhūvākṣikṣamākulam.
42. gaganam ca akhilam brahman sa-candra-graha-tārakam
adhogatam mahābhāga babhūva akṣikṣamākulam
42. O Brahman, the entire sky, along with its moon, planets, and stars, descended, O venerable one, and became agitated, filled with earth (dust) to the point of obscuring vision.
