मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-103, verse-40

विश्वकर्मा त्वनुज्ञातः शाकद्वीपे विवस्वतः ।
भ्रमिमारोप्य तत्तेजः शातनायोपचक्रमे ॥४०॥
40. viśvakarmā tvanujñātaḥ śākadvīpe vivasvataḥ .
bhramimāropya tattejaḥ śātanāyopacakrame.
40. viśvakarmā tu anujñātaḥ śākadvīpe vivasvataḥ
bhramim āropya tattejaḥ śātanāya upacakrame
40. Then, having been permitted by Vivasvat, Viśvakarmā, in Śākadvīpa, placed his radiance (tejas) on a lathe (bhrami) and began to diminish it.
