स वै कोपाच्च बाल्याच्च भाविनोऽर्थस्य वै बलात् ॥१८॥

Repeatedly implored by his father's wife and deeply distressed, he (Yama), indeed, acted out of anger and childishness, compelled by the power of what was destined to occur.
