महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-30, verse-45

अस्त्विदानीमियं राजन्केवला पृथिवी तव ।
असहायो हि को राजा राज्यमिच्छेत्प्रशासितुम् ॥४५॥
45. astvidānīmiyaṁ rājankevalā pṛthivī tava ,
asahāyo hi ko rājā rājyamicchetpraśāsitum.
45. astu idam idānīm iyam rājan kevalā pṛthivī tava
asahāyaḥ hi kaḥ rājā rājyam icchet praśāsitum
45. rājan astu idānīm iyam kevalā pṛthivī tava hi
kaḥ asahāyaḥ rājā rājyam praśāsitum icchet
45. O King, let this entire earth now be exclusively yours. For what king, being without allies, would wish to rule a kingdom?
