61.
Struck by Arjuna's arrows (pārthabāṇābhihata), he (Karṇa), armless and headless, fell from his chariot to the ground. He was like a mighty, well-blossomed, leafy Sāla tree (śāla) with a huge trunk (atikāya) uprooted by the wind from a mountain peak.
