महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-37

कुणिन्दपुत्रो दशभिर्महायसैः कृपं ससूताश्वमपीडयद्भृशम् ।
ततः शरद्वत्सुतसायकैर्हतः सहैव नागेन पपात भूतले ॥३७॥

37. The son of the Kuṇinda, with ten great iron arrows, severely tormented Kṛpa, along with his charioteer and horses. Then, (the Kuṇinda's son), struck down by the arrows of Śaradvat's son (Kṛpa), fell to the ground along with his elephant.
