महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-42

ततः शतानीकहतान्महागजांस्तथा रथान्पत्तिगणांश्च तावकान् ।
जघान भोजश्च हयानथापतन्विशस्त्रकृत्ताः कृतवर्मणा द्विपाः ॥४२॥
42. tataḥ śatānīkahatānmahāgajāṁ;stathā rathānpattigaṇāṁśca tāvakān ,
jaghāna bhojaśca hayānathāpata;nviśastrakṛttāḥ kṛtavarmaṇā dvipāḥ.

42. tataḥ bhojaḥ ca tāvakān śatānīkahatān mahāgajān tathā rathān ca pattigaṇān hayān jaghāna atha kr̥tavarmaṇā viśastrakr̥ttāḥ dvipāḥ āpatan.
42. Then, Bhoja killed your great elephants, as well as your chariots, infantry troops, and horses, (all of them having been previously) struck down by Śatānīka. And then, elephants, cut down and disarmed by Kr̥tavarmā, fell.
