महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-4

स वार्यमाणो विशिखैः समन्तात्तैर्महारथैः ।
भीमः क्रोधाभिरक्ताक्षः क्रुद्धः काल इवाबभौ ॥४॥
4. sa vāryamāṇo viśikhaiḥ samantāttairmahārathaiḥ ,
bhīmaḥ krodhābhiraktākṣaḥ kruddhaḥ kāla ivābabhau.

4. Obstructed on all sides by the arrows of those great charioteers, Bhīma became enraged. With his eyes red from fury, he shone like destructive Time (kāla).
