महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-23

ततो हताश्वादवरुह्य यानादादाय चर्म रुचिरं चाष्टचन्द्रम् ।
आकाशसंकाशमसिं गृहीत्वा पोप्लूयमानः खगवच्चचार ॥२३॥
23. tato hatāśvādavaruhya yānā;dādāya carma ruciraṁ cāṣṭacandram ,
ākāśasaṁkāśamasiṁ gṛhītvā; poplūyamānaḥ khagavaccacāra.
23. tataḥ hata-aśvāt avaruhya yānāt
ādāya carma ruciram ca aṣṭa-candram
ākāśa-saṃkāśam asim gṛhītvā
poplūyamānaḥ khagavat cacāra

23. Then, descending from the chariot whose horses had been slain, and taking up a beautiful shield adorned with eight moons, and holding a sword that gleamed like the sky, he moved about, leaping repeatedly like a bird.
