महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-57

ततोऽद्भुतेनैकशतेन पार्थं शरैर्विद्ध्वा सूतपुत्रस्य पुत्रः ।
ननाद नादं सुमहानुभावो विद्ध्वेव शक्रं नमुचिः पुरा वै ॥५७॥
57. tato'dbhutenaikaśatena pārthaṁ; śarairviddhvā sūtaputrasya putraḥ ,
nanāda nādaṁ sumahānubhāvo; viddhveva śakraṁ namuciḥ purā vai.
57. tataḥ adbhutena ekaśatena pārtham
śaraiḥ viddhvā sūtaputrasya putraḥ
nanāda nādam sumahānubhāvaḥ
viddhvā iva śakram namuciḥ purā vai
57. tataḥ sūtaputrasya putraḥ sumahānubhāvaḥ adbhutena ekaśatena śaraiḥ pārtham viddhvā nādam nanāda,
purā namuciḥ iva śakram viddhvā vai.
57. Then, the son of Karṇa (Vṛṣasena), possessing great prowess, having pierced Pārtha (Arjuna) with a wonderful hundred arrows, roared loudly, just as Namuci had indeed roared after piercing Indra in ancient times.
