महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-52

ततोऽभ्यविध्यद्बहुभिः शितैः शरैः कुणिन्दपुत्रो नकुलात्मजं स्मयन् ।
ततोऽस्य कायान्निचकर्त नाकुलिः शिरः क्षुरेणाम्बुजसंनिभाननम् ॥५२॥

tato'sya kāyānnicakarta nākuliḥ; śiraḥ kṣureṇāmbujasaṁnibhānanam.

asya śiraḥ kāyāt nicakarta
52. Then the son of Kuṇinda (Dhṛṣṭadyumna), smiling, pierced the son of Nakula (Śatānīka) with many sharp arrows. Thereupon, Nakuli (Śatānīka) cut off his head—whose face resembled a lotus—from his body with a razor-sharp arrow.
