महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-62, verse-59

ततः किरीटी रणमूर्ध्नि कोपात्कृत्वा त्रिशाखां भ्रुकुटिं ललाटे ।
मुमोच बाणान्विशिखान्महात्मा वधाय राजन्सूतपुत्रस्य संख्ये ॥५९॥
59. tataḥ kirīṭī raṇamūrdhni kopā;tkṛtvā triśākhāṁ bhrukuṭiṁ lalāṭe ,
mumoca bāṇānviśikhānmahātmā; vadhāya rājansūtaputrasya saṁkhye.

59. O King, then, the great-souled (mahātman) Arjuna, the crowned one, with a three-pronged frown on his forehead born of anger on the battlefield, released sharp arrows to slay Karṇa, the son of the charioteer, in that combat.
