विव्याध चैनं दशभिः पृषत्कैर्मर्मस्वसक्तं प्रसभं किरीटी ।
चिच्छेद चास्येष्वसनं भुजौ च क्षुरैश्चतुर्भिः शिर एव चोग्रैः ॥६०॥

60. vivyādha cainaṁ daśabhiḥ pṛṣatkai;rmarmasvasaktaṁ prasabhaṁ kirīṭī ,
ciccheda cāsyeṣvasanaṁ bhujau ca; kṣuraiścaturbhiḥ śira eva cograiḥ.

60. The crowned Arjuna (kirīṭī) forcibly pierced him (Karṇa) with ten arrows, unerringly striking his vital spots (marmasu). With four fierce, razor-sharp arrows, he also severed Karṇa's bow, his two arms, and indeed his head.
