महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-39, verse-32

अवृत्तिं विनयो हन्ति हन्त्यनर्थं पराक्रमः ।
हन्ति नित्यं क्षमा क्रोधमाचारो हन्त्यलक्षणम् ॥३२॥
32. avṛttiṁ vinayo hanti hantyanarthaṁ parākramaḥ ,
hanti nityaṁ kṣamā krodhamācāro hantyalakṣaṇam.
