महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-266, verse-57

नाध्यवस्यद्यदा कश्चित्सागरस्य विलङ्घने ।
ततः पितरमाविश्य पुप्लुवेऽहं महार्णवम् ।
शतयोजनविस्तीर्णं निहत्य जलराक्षसीम् ॥५७॥
57. nādhyavasyadyadā kaścitsāgarasya vilaṅghane ,
tataḥ pitaramāviśya pupluve'haṁ mahārṇavam ,
śatayojanavistīrṇaṁ nihatya jalarākṣasīm.
57. na adhyavasyat yadā kaścit sāgarasya
vilaṅghane tataḥ pitaram āviśya
pupluve aham mahārṇavam
śatayojanavistīrṇam nihatya jalarākṣasīm
57. When no one dared to cross the ocean, then I, invoking my father (Vāyu), leapt across the great ocean, which was a hundred yojanas wide, after having struck down the water ogress.
