महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-266, verse-40

मयस्य किल दैत्यस्य तदासीद्वेश्म राघव ।
तत्र प्रभावती नाम तपोऽतप्यत तापसी ॥४०॥
40. mayasya kila daityasya tadāsīdveśma rāghava ,
tatra prabhāvatī nāma tapo'tapyata tāpasī.

tatra prabhāvatī nāma tapas atapyata tāpasī
40. O Rāghava, that was indeed the dwelling of the demon Maya. There, a female ascetic (tāpasī) named Prabhāvatī was performing severe spiritual austerities (tapas).
