महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-109, verse-9

प्राजापत्यं ह्यङ्गिरसं पृष्टवानस्मि भारत ।
यथा मां त्वं तथैवाहं पृष्टवांस्तं तपोधनम् ॥९॥
9. prājāpatyaṁ hyaṅgirasaṁ pṛṣṭavānasmi bhārata ,
yathā māṁ tvaṁ tathaivāhaṁ pṛṣṭavāṁstaṁ tapodhanam.
9. prājāpatyam hi aṅgirasam pṛṣṭavān asmi bhārata yathā
mām tvam tathā eva aham pṛṣṭavān tam tapodhanam
9. bhārata hi aham prājāpatyam aṅgirasam pṛṣṭavān asmi
yathā tvam mām tathā eva aham tam tapodhanam pṛṣṭavān
9. O Bhārata, I indeed asked the sage Aṅgiras regarding the Prajāpati tradition. Just as you are questioning me now, so too did I question that ascetic (tapodhana).
