महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-109, verse-69

विमुच्यते चापि स सर्वसंकरैर्न चास्य दोषैरभिभूयते मनः ।
वियोनिजानां च विजानते रुतं ध्रुवां च कीर्तिं लभते नरोत्तमः ॥६९॥
69. vimucyate cāpi sa sarvasaṁkarai;rna cāsya doṣairabhibhūyate manaḥ ,
viyonijānāṁ ca vijānate rutaṁ; dhruvāṁ ca kīrtiṁ labhate narottamaḥ.
69. vimucyate ca api saḥ sarvasaṅkaraiḥ
na ca asya doṣaiḥ abhibhūyate
manaḥ viyonijānām ca vijānate rutam
dhruvām ca kīrtim labhate narottamaḥ
69. saḥ api ca sarvasaṅkaraiḥ vimucyate
ca asya manaḥ doṣaiḥ na abhibhūyate
narottamaḥ ca viyonijānām rutam
vijānate ca dhruvām kīrtim labhate
69. And he is indeed liberated from all defilements, and his mind is not overcome by imperfections. Such a supreme man (narottama) also comprehends the sounds of creatures born from various wombs and attains enduring renown.
