महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-109, verse-25

आषाढमेकभक्तेन स्थित्वा मासमतन्द्रितः ।
बहुधान्यो बहुधनो बहुपुत्रश्च जायते ॥२५॥
25. āṣāḍhamekabhaktena sthitvā māsamatandritaḥ ,
bahudhānyo bahudhano bahuputraśca jāyate.

25. Whoever, being diligent, completes the month of Ashadha by eating only once a day, becomes rich in grain, wealthy, and blessed with many sons.
