नियमं चोपवासानां सर्वेषां ब्रूहि पार्थिव ।
अवाप्नोति गतिं कां च उपवासपरायणः ॥३॥

3. niyamaṁ copavāsānāṁ sarveṣāṁ brūhi pārthiva ,
avāpnoti gatiṁ kāṁ ca upavāsaparāyaṇaḥ.
